EHS KAL

I want to give a big thank you to This Is Knit for hosting a great launch party for Echoes of Heather and Stone. It was such an enjoyable day and it was lovely to be able to share all the samples and stories with so many knitters. During the presale of the book, I did an Instagram live every week revealing details of the next pattern that was launched. While this is a great way to connect with knitters virtually nothing really beats in-person events where everyone can squish the knitting and ask me questions directly.

Now that the book is arriving around the world the fun can really begin, let’s get knitting! We’re going to launch a KAL for Echoes of Heather and Stone that will be on my Stolen Stitches forum here. The KAL is being run by Kay, who began working with me last month and has been a huge help in setting up the studio and attempting to bring order to the chaos that I create! She’s introduced herself here so give her a wave.

The official start date for the KAL is the 24th of September but if you are eager to get going sooner all of the discussion threads are up and ready to go. If you finish several projects from the book before the deadline then you can enter each one. There will be a raffle for a Nua prize at the end of the KAL!

If you want to use Nua yarn for the KAL you can get a 10% discount using code EHSKAL until the launch date, 24th of September. You can find the yarn here.

I hope you all enjoy working on the KAL, it’s going to be great to see you all knitting from the book! If you’re going to join the KAL why don’t you introduce yourself here?

  1. Congratulations on a great compilation. I’m going to start with Aine in Mosquito Coast andRolling Bales. I love all the patterns. Newgrange, Knowth, Epona, and Shamrock particularly took my fancy. And of course Aine.
