Mycroft by Isabell Kraemer

Are you dreaming of a jumper that is soft, cosy, wearable and relaxing to knit? Then let me point you towards Mycroft by Isabell Kreamer. This jumper is knitted in our Nua Worsted and offers all the luxury of our Nua yarn but on 4 – 4.5mm needles.

Mycroft is worked seamlessly from the top down. First, some short rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back neck and then the raglan yoke is worked top down to sleeve separation. The body is then worked in rounds down to the hem. If you look closely you will see that there is a broken rib pattern that accentuates the upper yoke and the lower body as well as the sleeve cuffs. The sleeves are worked top down to the cuffs. This of course means that no finishing is required. If you are like me then you have just let out a sigh of relief as I have many projects just sitting in my WIP crate that just need seaming or buttons etc.

If you can’t wait to get your hands on a pattern, you can, of course, pick up a Mycroft pattern on Ravelry here and you can also choose a yarn kit over on StolenStitches.com here.
