I have so much admiration for Bristol Ivy’s designs; interesting constructions, well-written patterns, and wearable striking designs. She has created a design for us once before for our Cosy Knits collection, and I’m delighted to be working with her again!
Bristol is a knitting designer, teacher, and author from Portland, Maine. Her work has been published with PomPom Magazine, Amirisu, Quince & Co., Making Magazine, and her own eponymous pattern line. She has taught at such events as Squam Art Workshops, Edinburgh Yarn Festival, and Vogue Knitting Live, as well as yarn shops worldwide. When not knitting, she’s sewing, running, watching far too many British murder mysteries, and baking a mean loaf of oatmeal honey bread. You can find out more about Bristol on Bristolivy.com
Seasons Club Overview – Spring
Our knitting club this season is all about lace, and Bristol has designed a wonderful lace shawl that you can practice your skills and learn new ones, with. The stitch pattern is not too complex but with lace it’s all about repetition. Taking a pattern repeat that’s easy to memorise and building it into a more complex whole. In this series of accompanying workshops, I will walk you through reading lace charts, keeping track of repeats, and fixing mistakes where possible.

Seasons Club Timing – Spring
The Spring Season will be open for new sign-ups from 8pm on the 1st of March until the 15th of March (or while stocks last). We have very limited stock of some colours, so if you want to ensure your colour pick order early!
The packages will be shipped out early April, and the patterns will be sent to you via email on the 19th of April.
You will also have access to your digital content on the 19th of April. There will be updates in both our Knithub and our Facebook group when all of this happens, and we will, of course, be sharing on our social channels.
So, if you are thinking of joining us for this season, set you reminders now!
Workshops and Support
One reason so many knitters choose to join our clubs is not only for the yarn and extras, but for the detailed patterns and friendly support. Each pattern comes with its own workshop series that will take you through each section of the pattern so you can sit back in your favourite crafting space and know that everything you need to knit your project is right there at your fingertips.
These workshops are recorded in English and have accompanying subtitles and an interactive comments section.
Along with this, we also have our dedicated private Seasons Club space on Knithub. This is where you can ask for support, chat with other members and check in on updates and members’ progress. You’ll also be able to take part in our launch party from here. Don’t worry if the time doesn’t suit you, a replay will be available to all our club subscribers.

Thank goodness for the Teachable lessons. It is so obvious when Carol demonstrates, and I am sure I could work it out for myself, but it does take the stress out of getting it wrong.
