In the last couple of days the printed version of Scrumptious Knits has arrived at Fyberspates in the UK! If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on a paper copy of this book you can buy it now here – remember if you’ve previously bought the PDF version you have a 20% off voucher to use.
I’m waiting (not so patiently!) for my copies to arrive, which should be any day now. I’m so very excited to see my little box of books. To make the wait more exciting I thought I’d have a raffle on my blog for a copy of Scrumptious Knits. You can let me know whether you’d prefer a hard back copy or a PDF version of the book. All you have to do is tell me which pattern you are going to knit first from the booklet and why in the comments on this blog post. I’ll have a random drawing for the winner next Thursday the 26th.
For anyone who already has their copy of the book/ebook and is dying to get knitting please come join me for a KAL at my Stolen Stitches group on ravelry.
In more Scrumptious Knit news the book samples have arrived over in the US with the Fyberspates distributor Lantern Moon. You can read all about it on their blog here. They’ll be traveling with them this weekend to TNNA in Phoenix so even though I won’t be there in person there will be a little part of me there :) If you are going to the show this weekend do make sure to call to their stand so you can see the samples in person!
Lovely giveaway! All of your designs are, as expected, fantastic! I would love to work up Flama and Taupo.
What a great book! The patterns are beautiful! I’m really into cowls right now so I think Vesuvius would be the first thing I’d knit from the book. Closely behind that would be Taupo, which I think is lovely. Thanks so much for the giveaway!
I would knit the Haruna hat first, because it’s so pretty and that would take care of the instant gratification component, and then I would move on to Baskerville, Ignus, and Taupo, in that order. :)
My first choice to knit would be the Flama shawl. I just love the way it looks and it would be the perfect gift for one of my friends.
If I win, I would prefer an e-book. My name is Loves2Dance on Ravelry.
I love Ignus. It’s almost as if you write your patterns just for me, being that I love all of them! I’ll have my Scrumptious Knits as a hard copy please.
All the patterns look lovely, but I think that I would like to have a go at Bakersville
What a great book love all the patterns
What a nice give-away! I would most likely knit Vesuvius first. I love cowls because they’re such a fast knit and this looks like it will look great in a hand-dyed yarn!
You never disappoint! I would start out with Taupo. Gorgeous!
If I had enough time, I would knit Ignus first. I love the pattern. When people see it, they will first see the sidecables and not my little belly ;-) and it is long.
What a gorgeous collection!! I like both taupo and ignus. I’ve been looking for a longer length sweater pattern and love the details on ignus. Taupo, on the other hand, is just plain cute and I don’t have any sweaters like that in my wardrobe right now.
It would have to be vesuvius first because it’s a cold, icy day in kentucky, and i’m freezing! Plus starting with the cowl would give me something to get going, while i take time to play with swatches and decide whether to ignus or bakersville will be next.
Bakersville! for the interesting construction and because it looks so good!
I would knit Bakersville first because of the unusual diagonal stitches and It looks great! I prefer the book in hard copy thanks.
There are so many queue-worthy designs in your booklet! At the top of my list are the perfect weight and gourgeously designed Bakersville Cardi, The incredible deep-ribbed with integrated cables design Ignus, The simple + comples Flama, And the cheeky Haruna hat! I love them all! Congrats on this new publication.

I am soooooo smitten with Ignus :))) love the cable pattern and ribbing ~ gives such a flattering style, congrats on an outstanding book too!!
I really really really want to wear Ignus, but would likely start with the Haruna hat and then move on to a sweater. Mostly because it would be completed sooner, I mean who doesn’t love a FO? I would prefer hard copy.
I would definitely knit the Haruna hat first, it is gorgeous! Then I would knit everything else. Love them all.
I feel in love with Bakersville the second I saw it. I even have the yarn ready – just trying to finish some WIPs first.
I will start with Bakersville.I has lovely a lovely shape.Classic and comfortable looking.I will follow with Ignus.I love cables.
Ignus is beautiful, so I imagine I’d start with that!
I’d probably do bakersville, because I’m a sucker for cardigans. And I think I might have yarn in my stash for it….
Beautiful designs and photos. I’d knit the cowl first.
I would knit Taupo first and Bakersville second.
