Rusty Lines KAL Presale!

I’m very excited to announce the presale of our autumn KAL, Rusty Lines!

This KAL is pretty special to me as I’m completely in love with biased knitting AND it’s the first KAL that will use my Nua Worsted yarn. I’ve knit the sample in the Harvest Moon colour and I was so happy to have an excuse to knit a sweater in this new yarn colour. It’s pretty much the perfect rusty orange!

How our KAL Works

If you’re new to our KALs you might be wondering how it all works. Every KAL operates a little differently and Stolen Stitches KALs are all about the community and having fun with your knitting!

To join you just need to purchase the pattern either directly on my website or on ravelry. In the first pdf you get you will have sizing, yarn, gauge and stitch pattern information. This is enough for you to get started with gathering your yarn, swatching and picking your size.

In the pdf you will also have a link to the KAL information page that will have links for techniques used in the pattern as well as for videos showing the construction and techniques used in the pattern as it’s being knit.

To join in the chat you can pop into the Carol Feller KAL board on ravelry here or join in the Stolen Stitches group on Facebook here. You can introduce yourself and chat about gauge, sizing and any modifications that you plan to make.

About the Sweater

This is sweater is knit from the top down. It begins at the centre of the back of the neck working out to the neck width. Then you cast-on the front of the neck and work out to the width of the shoulders. At this point you begin working down the front and back until finally you join them together for the body.

Once the body is complete the sleeves are picked up and worked from the top down. This makes it nice and easy to modify the size or length if you need to.

How to Join in!

So if you want join in the fun the steps are:

  1. Buy your pattern on Stolen Stitches or Ravelry.
  2. Join the Ravelry community here or join in the Stolen Stitches group on Facebook here.
  3. Get your yarn ready and start swatching! Yarn kits available here.
