Does anyone fancy a mystery KAL?

I’m a bit late this year but I think you’ll forgive me when you find out why…I’ve had a brand new yarn spun just for the shawl! If you’ve tried Blasta then I think you’re going to like Blasta Light. This is a single-ply version of the same yarn; 100% wool, 60% Irish fleece with a lofty, woollen spun halo. It’s glorious to block this yarn; the stitches bloom and fill right into themselves.

VIDEO WORKSHOP

For the Cois Farraige Mystery KAL duration, you will be able to sign up for free to the video workshop. You will continue to have access to this after the KAL is over.
Once the KAL is complete, the workshop will be sold separately, so make sure you sign up during the KAL!

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Width: 66” / 167.5 cm
Depth: 32.5” / 82.5 cm

YARN
Sample was knit using:
Stolen Stitches ‘Blasta Light’ (60% Fine Irish Wool, 40% New Zealand Wool; 470 yds / 430 m per 3.6 oz / 100 g);
Colour A: Farraig; 1 skein, Colour B: Emerald

Approximate Yardage: 400 m / 366 yds for Colour A and 447 m / 409 yds for Colour B

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
2 US size 6 / 4 mm circular needles, 40” / 100 cm long

2 stitch markers, tapestry needle, blocking wires useful but not essential.

GAUGE
19 sts and 36 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Garter Stitch blocked
19 sts and 32 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Lace Pattern blocked

WHERE CAN I FIND?

The Pattern can be found here on my website or on Ravelry here. Note that on purchase it will just be an information pdf. Each section of the pattern will be released as a clue on the schedule given. When the pattern is complete you will get a final pattern pdf at the end of the KAL.

On Saturday the 23rd of January at 8pm Irish Time (3 pm Eastern Standard time) the yarn kits will go live here. Please note that the link WON’T be live until that time, you will just get an error.
